I made a discovery after years of using toxic chemicals on my face that were not doing a great job of doing the job they said that they would. I discovered that Natural skin care was not just a fad but it was a money saver and the best way to clear the stubborn acne on my skin
I am so glad that I made that change. It was like a weight was lifted off of me. Can you hear it in my voice? I tell you what you , if you knew me before you can see it in my face. Like so many women, I came to the conclusion. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder and so is your skin care. Whether man or woman, young or old we all want beautiful and healthy skin.
But at what cost? According to U.S. Census data and Simmons National Consumer Survey, 1.35 million Americans spent $500 or more on skincare products over a three-month period in 2018.
Wow, now that is an eye opener. I’m not going to lie, at one point my money too was included in that data until I noticed that I was wasting my money on products that were unhealthy for my skin and wasn’t working.
I’ve always had pretty clear skin besides the occasional planets “as I would call my pimples” that would appear here and there but about 2 years ago, I decided to switch things up, I began working out 4-5 times a week, changing my eating habits. Although, I felt so much better physically, I started noticing a difference in my skin.
I was getting breakouts more often, which sometimes left dark spots dry patches, and the overall appearance of my skin was very dull . My
normal facial routine was no longer working. Once I reached my panic stage and exhausted all of the products that I normally used, seeing my skin getting more irritated, I started doing research and I must say my skin and wallet are so much happy.
Remember that old saying…”if I only knew then what I know now”. Well, I’m hoping that anyone reading this gets this now. After a few months of research and trying different methods, I was surprise that there are everyday natural products right in your cabinet that are so effective and nourishing for our skin. You will see and feel the difference immediately. I wanted to slap myself for not doing my research sooner.
Our facial skin is so delicate knowing how to care for it makes a world of difference. From exfoliating, toning, acne treatments, and moisturizers, it can be overwhelming. Knowing this first hand, I needed to share these 3 well known everyday products that cost less than $10.00 total with everyone.
1 having anti-inflammatory properties, dries up acne and removes dead skin cells which leads to excess oil and clogged pores, the second acts as an astringent to help shrink your pores, soothe your skin and reduce inflammation and the third keeps skin moisturized and helps prevent aging and damage to our skin.
So the first of my favorite skin ingredients that helps with my breakouts and toned my skin drum roll please is Apple cider vinegar .
Yes! Apple cider vinegar is a face toner and very beneficial and can do wonders for your skin in so many ways. The buildup of dead skin cells can result in excess oil and clogged pores, leading to blemishes and acne and because Apple cider vinegar has anti-inflammatory properties , it can be used as a toner or to treat breakouts and balance your skin’s pH level by reducing pH levels of the skin it can help dry up acne spots and remove skin cells.
Removing the barrier of dead skin cells clogging the skin, uncovers fresh new cells below for a healthy younger look. Apple cider vinegar can do wonders for your skin.
My next skin product is a natural astringent and oily skins or combination ones usually love this. You should use it as part of your daily cleansing routine. Witch hazel. Witch hazel for your face will clear dark spots and tightens the pores on skin and is commonly added to many over-the-counter acne products.
No matter what our age, acne and blemishes can be a problem, and witch hazel is one of the very best remedies.
My finally skin product is a natural face moisturizer. This natural moisturizer helps retain the moisture contents of your skin while helping it look and feel silky smooth. Coconut Oil. I use coconut oil for face moisturizer because it is rich in medium-chain fatty acids, which it also exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin cells, making your skin softer. It has high quantities of vitamin E, an essential nutrient for healthy skin growth, repair, and the prevention of premature aging.
Well, these are my 3 go to natural face skin remedies that has been so beneficial to keeping my skin beautiful and healthy.
